Uni Eco Farming Sdn Bhd. operates commercial shrimp farming, specialising in the cultivation of SPF Penaeus Monodon. Currently, we own up to 190 aquaculture ponds in Selangor and Perak for shrimp aquaculture, where we can accommodate up to 1,420 tons of production capacity per year from two harvesting cycles.
Our company specialises in the commercial farming of SPF Penaeus Monodon Black Tiger Shrimp. Our farm is the local pioneer of the cultivation of shrimp post-larvae from Madagascar species.
This strategy has helped to reduce and overcome risk of diseases, resulting in a more active tiger shrimp species with higher yield, less colour and size variation.
We place great importance on proper aquaculture practices to ensure:
25 – 30 shrimp larvae per square metre
At least 33g (120 days)
Semi-closed system
Sufficient oxygen level

01
Select sites with clean seawater supply.

02
Design and construct farming ponds by specialist and expert technical specification. Upon completion of construction, each farming pond is cleaned, dried and disinfected.

03
Stock pond with SPF Monodon post-larvae and regularly observe shrimp activities. Feed shrimp larvae 4-5 times a day with quality-proven feed to ensure proper growth.

04
Maintain optimal pond water quality conditions with professional water treatment. Regularly check the water parameters and drainage system to ensure survival, growth and reproduction of shrimp.

05
Prevent diseases, viral infections and boost shrimp survival with adjuvant supplements, probiotics, hard wash, bird netting, and water treatment.

06
Harvesting teams are specially trained to use bio-secure methods to harvest the black tiger shrimp to maintain consistent quality, and then hygienically processed for transportation.
