Bionestro Sdn. Bhd. (BSB) is mainly involved in the hatching and production of SPF Penaeus Monodon larvae, the Madagascar species in our hatchery. We are one of the pioneers in Malaysia to have successfully produced high-yield larvae. Our laboratory services allow us to achieve consistent quality in the overall production of SPF Penaeus Monodon. Our laboratory also offers a broad range of testing services and produces a sustainable supply of good-quality polychaete that are made available to local hatcheries.

Harvesting
Harvesting of post-larvae at the stage of PL12 is subject to protocols and QC tests for quality assurance. Post-larvae is subject to selected tests using real-time PCR methods carried out by certified lab technicians. Upon completion, a laboratory report based on the PCR test results will provide to the clients as proof of quality.
